Surveys let you collect answers from your contacts in Easymailing. You can use them to ask a quick question in an email or to create a complete multi-question survey.
Contents
1. Survey types
In Easymailing you can create two types of survey:
| Type | What it is for |
| Quick question | A single question that the contact answers with one click from the email. |
| Complete survey | A public page with several questions that you can share by link or send from a campaign. |
2. Create a survey
1 Go to Surveys from the main menu.
2 Click Create survey.
3 Enter an internal name to identify the survey.
4 Select the audience the survey will belong to.
5 Choose the survey type: Quick question or Complete survey.
6 Click Create survey.
3. Add questions
After creating the survey, you will access its overview page. From there you can add questions.
Quick question
A quick question has one question and several answer options.
1 In the Question section, click Add question.
2 Write the question.
3 Add between 2 and 10 options.
4 Check the preview.
5 Click Save.
Complete survey
A complete survey can include several questions. You can add them one by one from the overview page.
The available question types are:
- Single choice
- Multiple choice
- Yes/No
- Rating (1 to 5)
- NPS (0 to 10)
- Open answer
For questions with options, you can define between 2 and 10 answers. For Yes/No questions, the survey uses two options: the first as the positive answer and the second as the negative answer.

4. Configure design and results
On the survey overview page you will find the Design section. From there you can edit the pages your contact will see.
You can also configure:
- Whether results are shown after answering.
- A redirect URL after completing the survey.
- The survey language, if your account works with several languages.
5. Activate the survey
Once you have added the questions, click Activate survey.
An active survey can receive answers and can be selected in a survey campaign.
Before activation, Easymailing checks that the survey has valid content. For example:
- It must have at least one question.
- A quick question must have at least two options.
- Questions with options must have enough options.
6. Share or send the survey
When the survey is active, you can use it in different ways:
- In a survey campaign.
- From its public link, for complete surveys.
- As a basis to segment contacts according to their answers.
- As an automation trigger when a contact answers.
For complete surveys, Easymailing shows a public URL that you can share.
7. Check statistics
From the Statistics tab you can review survey results.
Depending on the survey type, you can see:
- Total answers.
- Answers from recent days.
- Winning option in quick questions.
- Results by question.
- Rating distribution.
- NPS and answer breakdown.
- Open answers.
- Campaigns where answers came from.

8. Close or delete a survey
Close a survey
If you want to stop receiving answers, click Close survey.
A closed survey no longer accepts new answers, but keeps its statistics so you can review them.
Delete a survey
You can delete a survey from the action menu.
Keep these rules in mind:
- If the survey is active, you must close it first.
- If the survey has answers, deleting it will also delete its statistics.
- If the survey is used in segments or automations, you must remove those references before deleting it.
