It is crucial to maintain an engaged audience in your marketing strategy. Having subscribers who do not interact with your campaigns can increase costs and harm delivery rates. Instead of accumulating inactive subscribers, focus on building a list of engaged contacts, segment your audience, and send relevant content to optimize your marketing efforts.
1 Create a Segment
Create a segment, select the "all" operator, and add the following conditions with an "AND":
1. Campaign Activity - Did not open a campaign - In any campaign in the last 3 months (adjust the period as needed).
2. Status - Within - Confirmed.
3. Subscription Date - Is less than - for example, "06/01/2023 12:00" (adjust the date to your preferences*).
Clicking on "Count subscribers" will give you the number of subscribers who meet these conditions.
2 Unsubscribe Subscribers
Next, go to the segment list, and in the dropdown menu on the right, select "Unsubscribe subscribers." This process will allow you to clean up your list and keep it relevant and engaged.
