1. Install the Easymailing plugin in WordPress
1 Install the plugin
In the WordPress admin panel, select the "Plugins" option from the left menu. Once there, click "Add New" and search for "Easymailing." Click "Install Now" and then "Activate."
2 Configure the plugin
Once installed, you will see a new option in the left menu titled "Easymailing." Click on it to access the plugin settings page.
Enter the API key that you must have previously generated and click the "Save" button.
2. Configure a popup form
1 Click on the "Forms" option within the "Easymailing" module in the WordPress admin left menu.
2 Click on the "Popup" option to configure the form.
3 Select the audience from the list of options where you created your subscription form and then choose the form you want to activate. Click "Save" to complete the configuration.
3. Configure an embedded form using a shortcode
1 Click on the "Forms" option found within the "Easymailing" menu in the WordPress admin left menu.
2 Click on the "Embedded" option to configure the form.
3 Select the audience from the list of options where you created your subscription form and then choose the form you want to activate. Once selected, a shortcode will appear.
4 Copy the shortcode and paste it wherever you want to include the form, whether in a post, widget, or page on your WordPress website.
4. Configure an embedded form through Gutenberg
1 Start editing the post or page where you want to embed the form.
2 Click the "Add a block" button (represented by a + sign).
3 Search for "Easymailing" in the blocks and click on the "Easymailing" block to add it to the content of the page or blog post.
4 In the block, select the audience from the list of options and then choose the form. Click "Embed" to insert the form.
5. Configure the integration with Elementor forms
To integrate Easymailing with forms created in Elementor, follow these steps:
1 Create a form in Elementor
Design your form using Elementor as usual.
2 Select 'Easymailing' in after-submit actions
In the "After Submit Actions" section of the form, select "Easymailing" to enable the integration.
3 Configure the Easymailing action
In the Easymailing tab, configure the following elements:
- Select an audience: Choose which audience the new contacts will belong to.
- Groups: Optionally, select one or more groups to associate with the contact.
- Field mapping: Map the email field, custom fields, and GDPR consent options.
