1. Install the Easymailing plugin in WordPress
1 Install the plugin
In the WordPress admin dashboard, select the "Plugins" option from the menu on the left. Once there, click "Add New" and search for "easymailing". Click "Install Now" and then "Activate".
2 Configure the plugin
Once installed you will see a new option in the left menu with the title "Easymailing". Click to access the plugin settings screen.
Enter the API key that you must have previously generated and click on the "Save" button
2. Create a popup form
1Click on the "forms" option in the "Easymailing" module in the left-hand menu of the WordPress administration.
2Click on the option "Popup" to configure the form.
3Select the audience in the list of options where you have created your subscription form and then the form you want to activate. Click "save" to finish the setup.
3. Create an embedded form with a shortcode
1Click on the "forms" option found in the "Easymailing" menu in the left-hand menu of the Wordpress administration..
2Click on the option "Popup" to configure the form.
3Select the audience in the list of options where you have created your subscription form and then the form you want to activate; once selected, a shortcode will appear.
4Copy the shortcode and paste it wherever you want to include the form in a post, widget or page of your WordPress website.
4. Create an embedded form via Gutenberg
1Start editing the post or page where you want to embed the form
2Click on the button "Add a block" (represented by a + sign)
3Search for "Easymailing" in the blocks and click on the "Easymailing" block to add it to the content of the page or blog post.
4In the block, select the audience from the list of options and then select the form. Click on "Embed" to insert the form.
5. Configure the Integration with Elementor Forms
To integrate Easymailing with forms created in Elementor, follow these steps:
1Create a Form in Elementor
Design your form using Elementor as usual.
2Select 'Easymailing' in Post-Submit Actions
In the "Post-Submit Actions" section of the form, select "Easymailing" to activate the integration.
3Configure the Easymailing Action
In the Easymailing tab, configure the following elements:
- Select an Audience: Choose which audience the created contacts will belong to.
- Groups: Optionally, select one or multiple groups to associate with the contact.
- Field Mapping: Map the email field, custom fields, and GDPR processing purposes. It is crucial to correctly map the GDPR purposes, ensuring that each purpose in the form is of the "Acceptance" type.
