Once you have defined the Trigger, you can start setting up the actions and steps you want to perform.
Below we explain each one and its possibilities.
Just like when creating a regular campaign, all the options to set it up will be shown.
Title: This is the informational, non-public title you need to add to identify your email.
From: Specify the sender name for the campaign, the sender email and whether you want to enable conversations or use a reply-to email.
Subject and preview: Enter your campaign subject line and the preview text (preheader). You can also use Tags and emojis to grab attention.
Template: Select a previously created template or design a new one.
Tracking: Enable the tracking options you want for your campaign metrics.

SMS
The SMS step lets you send an SMS message inside the automation. It is its own flow step, just like Email or Wait, and it is configured from its side panel.
Title: Add an internal title to identify this SMS inside the scenario.
SMS sender: Select an active SMS sender. If you do not have any active senders, you first need to create or activate one from the SMS settings.
SMS message: Write the message content. You can use personalization tags, emojis and the SMS unsubscribe link. The editor shows characters, segments and a mobile preview.
Tracking: You can enable link tracking, ecommerce tracking and Google Analytics when you want to measure clicks or conversions from the SMS.
Wait
Set the amount of time you want to wait before performing the next step, whether in minutes, hours, days or weeks. You can also specify specific dates on which you want to carry out your actions, whether by day, month or year.
Condition
Routes the subscriber down one path or another using conditions, just like you do with segments.
If the subscriber meets the conditions, they will be routed to the left side of the flow; otherwise, they will continue down the right side.
For example: If the subscriber has opened campaign "X", they go to node 1; if not, they go to node 2.
Go to step
Redirects the subscriber to another step in the automation, allowing you to create loops or jump to a specific part of the flow without duplicating steps.
Select the target step from the dropdown in the side panel. You can only choose steps that do not create an infinite execution cycle.
For example: If after a condition the subscriber has not opened an email, you can redirect them back to the wait step to retry later.
Action
Here you can perform several actions to modify the subscriber's status:
Update custom field Updates a selected custom field to a specific value |
Add to group Adds the subscriber to a specific group |
Remove from group Removes the subscriber from a specific group |
Unsubscribe Unsubscribes the contact from your scenario's audience |
Update score Adds or subtracts points from the subscriber's quality score |
Send notification Sends a notification to the selected email addresses |
Trigger automation Starts the selected automation for the subscriber |
