Landing pages are single pages designed to focus on a specific goal, whether it is to capture leads, promote a product or event, or provide detailed information about a particular topic. Often, these pages do not need a menu, as their simplicity is key to keeping the user's attention on the main call to action.
However, in some situations, it can be useful to include a menu that facilitates navigation within the same page, especially if the landing page is long and contains multiple sections. This type of menu uses anchors, which are internal links that allow users to scroll vertically within the same page to quickly access different sections.
In this article, we will show you how to add an anchor menu to your landing page using our drag and drop editor. This functionality will allow you to improve the user experience by making navigation within your page easier, making it simpler and faster to find relevant information.
How to add an anchor menu?
1 Access the Editor
Access the drag and drop editor by clicking on the “Edit design” button.
2Select the Menu
You will be offered a pre-designed menu that you can modify to your liking. This menu is already configured to work as an anchor by internally linking to different parts of the landing page.
Click on the menu to see the available options in the right panel.
3 Block Identifier Configuration
Select the object you want the user to scroll vertically to when clicking on the menu section. In the right panel, activate the “Block Identifier” option and assign a name to the section.
4 Menu Configuration
Click on the menu and you will see a dropdown for each section in the right panel.
Activate the "internal link" option and in the “Navigate to” field, enter the “Block Identifier” you configured earlier.
5 Preview
Finally, click on “Preview” to check how the scrolling works when clicking on a menu section.
By following these steps, you can effectively configure internal linking on your landing page, improving navigation and the user experience.
